More than likely you have noticed that your computer has a small clock on the bottom corner that lets you know what time it is. This is a great benefit, since you can easily find out the time with a quick glance. In some cases, the battery may not be the problem that makes the computer clock slow. Sometimes it can be a program that is running in the background of your computer that can be the problem. If a new battery did not fix the problem, you may want to find out what programs are running in the background. Close them one by one and see if this helps to keep your clock from lagging. If the program is the problem, you should be able to keep the program from automatically starting.
Synchronize Your Clock
If none of the options have worked and you find that your computer clock is slow then you may need to synchronize your clock. You can do this by purchasing some software that will automatically synchronize your clock or you can go online and synchronize your computer clock with an atomic clock. This will help you make sure that your clock always has the right time.
So, as you can see, if your computer clock is slow, there are a variety of things that can cause the problem. Simply try the different fixes to try and fix the clock, and no doubt you’ll eventually get the clock back to telling the right time.
